5. Awards and More from Adam

I am so excited/grateful/impressed with all the activities I have seen for National Month of Musicianship. I have been invited to recitals, concerts, and clinics. I have heard about history displays, receptions, and concert promotion and ushering. You have truly “Striven for the Highest” with this program. The next step is to send a small write up and a picture from your event to me at adamcantley@kkpsi.org so that I can potentially add to my write up in the Spring 2008 Podium(adamcantley@kkpsi.org).

Are you an outstanding member of KKPsi with over a 3.5 cumulative GPA? Then you meet the qualification for the AEA Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to recognize our members, their outstanding academics and contributions to Kappa Kappa Psi. The deadline for this scholarship is January 1st. (http://www.kkpsi.org/aeascholarship.asp)

Finally, it is time to start thinking about National Awards. The Guide to Membership has a complete list of awards and deadlines on pages 46 and 47 (http://www.kkpsi.org/Downloads/2007-2009KKPsiG2ME.pdf). They are all due by January 1st to National HQ! If you have questions about any of them please do not hesitate to ask. You can find the applications at http://www.kkpsi.org/fraternityawards.asp

Thanks and please share this message with your chapters.

AEA,
Adam D. Cantley
KKPsi National VP for Programs
