Greetings Sisters & Brothers!
It is my honor & pleasure to announce our newest Tau Beta Sigma Chapter, Theta Gamma Chapter at Alcorn State University in Alcorn, Mississippi who was reactivated today, November 4th!

2. KKPsi Installs New Chapter at Houston Baptist University

I want to report that the Mu Gamma Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, Chapter #291, at Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas was installed on November 4, 2007 on the university campus.
The Iota Upsilon Chapter at McNeese State University did an admirable job while serving as Advising Chapter, and they performed 3rd Degree prior to the Installation Ceremony. Thanks also to Jeremy Thomas, former National Chapter Field Representative and Life Member, Theta Nu Chapter of KKPsi, for serving as the Advising Person for Mu Gamma.

3. Kappa Kappa Psi Receives Application for Colonization from Oregon State University
Kappa Kappa Psi is pleased to announce our newest colony at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.
Oregon State University is a public university with an enrollment of over 19,000 and offers undergraduate and advanced music degrees. Ensembles include Wind Ensemble, Concert and Jazz Bands, Basketball & Marching Bands. Our newest KKPsi colony has 19 colonists, and their officers are as follows:

4. Conn-Selmer University Update
Kappa Kappa Psi is excited to offer a great opportunity for active members preparing to be music educators. The Conn Selmer University takes place at Notre Dame University from June 8-11 2008. Kappa Kappa Psi awards scholarships to active members to attend this highly motivational workshop / seminar designed to support music educators preparing to begin a career in music education. The mission of Conn-Selmer, Inc. is to provide an educational center, ongoing reference source, and support network for the professional growth of music educators. They also support college students entering the music education field helping to bridge the gap between their university training and their first professional experiences.
Scholarships will be awarded up to $300.00 to cover the $100.00 registration cost and/or travel assistance for Kappa Kappa Psi members attending Conn-Selmer University.
