1. Check Out the New National Convention Website!

Brother and Sisters,

We hope you all are starting to think about the Nation Intercollegiate Band and National Convention in 2007. We are excited to announce that all National Convention information is available at www.kkytbs.org. This year we will focus on "Building Success from the Band UP!" As brothers and sisters we need to remember ours bands should be the foundation of everything we do. This convention will reaffirm this belief and hopefully energize you to continue building great things at your local institutions from a strong foundation.

Jake Burk at National Headquarters has created one of the most comprehensive and informational convention websites we have ever seen for KKPsi and TBS. We appreciate all of his work.

This Convention will feature a variety of speakers, workshops, and musical experiences. We are pleased to welcome the "Boston Brass" to this year's convention. Make sure you check the link about them on the website.

Finally and most importantly, the NIB audition deadline is just around the corner. Make sure you don't miss out on THE most important event our fraternity and sorority offer. This years NIB conductor is Frank B. Wickes from Louisiana State University and our commissioning composer is Eric Ewazen. This promises to be a wonderful learning and musical experience for all those involved.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact either one of us or National Headquarters. We hope to see you in Orlando!

ITB,
Adam Cantley
Kappa Kappa Psi- National Vice President for Student Affairs
