1. Carolyn Steckel Named National Chapter Field Representative
The National Council of TBS recently selected Carolyn Steckel, 2001 graduate from Bowling Green State University and Alpha Xi Chapter of TBS as the new National Chapter Field Representative. At BGSU she was a Popular Culture Major (if you want to know what that is, just email her!!!). She arrived in Stillwater, Oklahoma on October 15. 2. Alpha Chapter of TBS at Oklahoma State University Sponsors House Warming for CFR
Last spring the TBS CFR House suffered damages due to a small fire. Over the summer repairs have been made, and it nearly is ready. There are still some needs for the CFR House, and you can assist.

The Alpha chapter of Tau Beta Sigma is organizing a housewarming shower for the CFR house. They are asking chapters to donate money, a gift card, or an item towards furnishing the house. The sorority has already outfitted the house with furniture and a television, however many items for the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are still needed.

The shower will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 10. Everyone is invited to take part. Donations towards this ongoing project will be accepted at any time. They can be mailed to National Headquarters, attn: Housewarming.
We even received suggestions to register the house warming, and items have been registered at three national stores. You can easily help out on-line! The information for finding these registries are as follows:

JC Penney:
At jcpenney.com, go to gifts and registries. Click on gift registries, then choose housewarming and View/Purchase an item from an existing registry. The first letter of the first name is T (for Tau). The last name is Sigma. The month of the event is November. The registry number
00744032 .

Wal-Mart:
At Wal-Mart.com, click on the gift tab. Scroll down. On the left side of the screen you will come to a link for create or find registry. The registrant's first name is Tau. The registrant's last name is Sigma. The event is a housewarming. That will take you to the registry.

Target:
At Target.com, there will be a link in the upper right for wish lists. At find a wish list, type in Tau Beta Sigma. The state is Oklahoma.

Please join in welcoming Carolyn to the National Headquarters Staff and to her new position as CFR!
