Mu Chi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi Installed
by Adam Cantley, National Vice President for Colonization and Membership
Brothers,
It is my pleasure to announce the installation of the Mu Chi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at The University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. The 310th chapter installation occurred at 2:00 PM, November 21 with National Vice President for Student Affairs Jack Lee serving as the installing officer of 13 colonists. The Epsilon Kappa chapter served as the advising chapter and past CFR and life member Dusty Brown from the Gamma Phi/Delta Sigma chapters was the colony advisor. This is the 12th chapter installation of the biennium.
A special thanks goes out to the Epsilon Delta chapter at Texas A&M University - Kingsville for assisting with the Ritual of Third Degree.
There were a number guests attending representing the Epsilon Delta, Beta Sigma, Gamma Phi, Beta Zeta, and Delta Sigma chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi and the Delta Eta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. The Mu Chi chapter is already off to a fantastic start with service, brotherhood, and other events already planned. Please send congratulations to:

Tau Beta Sigma Adopts New Vision Statement
by Dollie O'Neill, National President
To the Sisters and Brothers of Tau Beta Sigma,
The 2009-2011 National Council held a strategic planning session, the first since the one held in 1996-1997, and one of the results from this session is a NEW Vision Statement, one which reflects the Vision of our organization for the next 10 years. Tau Beta Sigma adopted its first Vision Statement in 2000having not had a Vision statement prior to then. This New Vision Statement shows the direction of Tau Beta Sigma and where we are heading over the next decade.
NEW 2020 Tau Beta Sigma Vision
Tau Beta Sigma is a highly respected pre-eminent music organization comprised of over 160 collegiate chapters and more than 3,800 collegiate members with a balanced representation of women and men. Strong leadership thrives throughout our organization and we have a solid financial foundation. We cultivate and sponsor a variety of music education programs for our diverse membership and work closely with collegiate band directors. Our alumni association is an integral part of Tau Beta Sigma, promoting diversity efforts, social networking and assisting members in enhancing their professional leadership and employment possibilities after graduation from college. We are connected with music in the community which includes supporting music education at all academic levels.

Brothers,
Are you still looking for something to do to celebrate the Month of Musicianship? Have you been trying to think of what you can do, but just really can't come up with anything? Time is running out, but there is still so much that can be done!
I'm pleased to present another video segment to the Fraternity membership on KKPsi Live! This brief video focuses on some simple things you can do to celebrate the Month of Musicianship. I even share with you what a couple other chapters throughout the country have already done to show their love and appreciation to music and band.
To view the video, go to the Kappa Kappa Psi Youtube channel by clicking here. You can also copy and paste this URL into your web-browser: www.youtube.com/kkpsihq
