Brothers and Sisters,

The Kappa Kappa Psi National Council is excited to announce the addition of a new colony at Robert Morris University in Moon Township Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh. Kappa Kappa Psi currently has 11 colonies and has installed 11 new chapters this biennium.

We are excited to have former Kappa Rho Sponsor and current Robert Morris University Director of Bands Besty Charles working with Kappa Kappa Psi students on the chapter level. The colony will be advised by life members of the Omicron Chapter, Daniel and Kelly Miller. The advising chapter will be the Alpha Omega Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh.

If you would like to send a not of congratulations to the colony feel to e-mail the colony president Brian Burns

This is an exciting time to be involved in the growth and development of our national organization. Thank you for all you do to further the mission and values of Kappa Kappa Psi daily.

Tau Beta Sigma Adopts New Vision Statement
by Dollie O'Neill, National President

To the Sisters and Brothers of Tau Beta Sigma,

The 2009-2011 National Council held a strategic planning session, the first since the one held in 1996-1997, and one of the results from this session is a *NEW Vision Statement, which reflects the Vision of our organization for the next 10 years.

We provide exceptional service to collegiate bands and promote equality and diversity, including empowering women in the band profession. We cultivate leadership, educational achievement, music appreciation and community development.

Tau Beta Sigma adopted its first Vision Statement in 2000. Tau Beta Sigma did not have a Vision statement prior to 2000.

This New Vision Statement shows the direction of Tau Beta Sigma and where we are heading for the next 10 years.

by Aaron Moore, National Alumni Chapter and Colony Affairds Coordinator

Hello Brothers and Sisters,

The Fall Activity Report is required of each chapter and must be postmarked by December 1 each year. Colonies are not required to submit this form (unless installed prior to December 1), but should take the time to familiarize themselves with the form. The form is available for download for Kappa Kappa Psi HERE and for Tau Beta Sigma HERE.

The completed form (including all sections filled out and with required signatures) should be mailed to:
Tau Beta Sigma National Headquarters
PO Box 849
Stillwater, OK 74076-0849

Please also take a moment to visit the Chapter Directory online and verify your chapter's information. If it is correct, you do not need to send anything back. If it is incorrect, click on the "Change Form" link at the top of your chapter's entry in the directory and submit your corrections.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Aaron Moore at

Brothers and Sisters,

The 2011 KKΨ and TBΣ National Convention is fast approaching and your National Councils and National Headquarters staff are hard at work to ensure a fantastic convention.

To help with this we have taken the National Convention Online starting with an Official National Convention Facebook Page.
