Erin Silvan

I am an active member of the Epsilon Rho chapter at Virginia State University located in Petersburg, VA initiated in the spring of 2007. At VSU I am seeking a B.A. in Music with my concentration being the Clarinet. I am 4th year member of the Trojan Explosion Marching Band where I play the B-flat clarinet, a member of the VSU Concert Band and Woodwind Ensemble where I play the Alto Clarinet, and also a member of the VSU Woodwind Quintet where I play the Basset Horn. Vice President of Membership Goals

Goals for Office
* Create a "Guide to Being an Active Sister", it would serve as a manual to newly active sisters so that they are aware of chapter procedures upon initiation
* Revise and continue Project Good Member
* Revise and continue the Guide to Building an MEP
* Encourage chapters who have a big or little sister chapter that is inactive to reach out to them
* Successfully guide current colonies and hopefully establish new ones

Goals for the District
* Build stronger inter-chapter relationships
* Maintain healthy and happy chapters

Goals for the 2009-2010 District Council
* Build close and open relationships in order to work successfully, effectively, and efficiently
