Tom Franklin
Tom Franklin is a 2004 graduate of the University of Connecticut where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. A trombone player, Tom participated in a wide variety of musical ensembles at UConn including the Wind Ensembles, Pep Bands and the "Pride of Connecticut" UConn Marching Band. Tom was inducted into the Gamma Kappa chapter of Tau Beta Sigma in Spring 2000 and held a variety of leadership roles on the chapter and district level including serving as Northeast District Vice President of Membership from 2004-2005.
Tom is currently a music teacher and works with schools and marching bands throughout the state of Connecticut. In 2008, Tom earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University and hopes to continue his studies in teacher leadership in the future. Tom lives in South Windsor, CT with his wife Kristine where they enjoy spending time with family and friends, biking and generally living life to the fullest!
