Matt Albert

Matt is graduating in the May of 2009 with a B.A. in music. After graduation, he plans to attend graduate school to get his Master's in Early Childhood Education. After that, he will teach middle school band and orchestra while he works on his Doctorate.

He plays tuba in the University of Connecticut Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band and Pep Band. Over the years, he has picked up many instruments, including bass, bagpipes and his principle instrument, the tuba. He has been playing in the UCMB sousaphone line since his first semester and has since made many unrequited attempts to get his section to dance like they have never danced before. He is currently a Tuba section leader.

Matt went through with the beta xi class in the spring of 2006 and has since served as the Webmaster for Gamma Kappa from 2007-2008.

He is extremely excited to continue the great work done before him in the office of Alumni Secretary and hopes to continue it further.
