Brothers and Sisters of the NCD,

The NCDAA has matured in the past year. Our membership has grown and stabilized at 39 members, including 10 joining here at convention. Our membership now extended to two additional districts and many other associAAAAtions.

Our main goal has been to fundraise for your commissioning project. The Singled Out program was so well received at nationals that you extended part of your profits to the Columbine Commissioning Project with a $300 donation. Today, we are please to give an additional donation of $300.

We would like to thank all who attended the luncheon & meeting. Your input and perspective is appreciated in how alumni can best serve the actives. We would also like to thank Brandon, Kelly and the join councils for the opportunity to assist you throughout your term, and here at convention. I would like to thank the join membership committee for inviting us to your meeting. A unique idea was shared to send a friendly postcard to alumni as part of the candidate process… considering all we get in the mails now are bills; a note from a perspective would be a great reason to check mail.

Just to reiterate, alumni are here to assist you at your request. We are a wealth of information in the fraternal and sorority sense in addition to professionally. (Something to keep in mind as you one day attain your college degrees)

Finally, we held officer elections and I would like to thank the outgoing officers, Jen and Brian for all of your hard work and dedication in the inaugural term of the NCDAA. Our officers for the 2000-2001 term are, Sec/Treasurer Matt Drase; VPP Charles Hass; VP Membership Derrick Mills and President Mark Bradbourne.

For anyone interested in membership, please come and get a brochure (sorry, we don’t have enough for each delegate, but we gained members…) or visit our website at http://come.to/ncdaa.

This year has been a great success and we are dedicated in the next year to follow the true spirit of our motto “When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not!”

Respectfully Submitted,

Rose M. Murray

Past President, NCDAA
