Is there anyone or anything you want the
Committee on Credentials & Resolutions
to recognize? (Include Chapter
Anniversaries)
Not at this time.
In one paragraph (not to exceed one (1)
minute when read) discuss/address one significant event or occurrence which has
had an impact on your chapter.
(ex. a fundraiser, crisis,
revamped Candidate Program)
The Nu Chapter is
currently in the process of a paradigm shift from having an emphasis on
fundraising to having an emphasis on community service. This plan was put together by a single
brother but it was ratified by a unanimous vote. This plan involves eliminating some unsuccessful fundraising requirements
in exchange for requirements involving serving the community through
music. This plan energized the chapter
right after Leadership and the activation of our latest MEC class.
Please take one of the activities listed on
the previous page unique to your Chapter and explain in some detail what your
Chapter’s involvement is. (This should
also be read)
The most
representative event Nu had this year came at the very beginning of the school
year. This event was our 75th
Anniversary project where we had over 90 alumni, brothers, and sisters in
attendance. This was a special event in
the history of our chapter as the Nu actives have never had a strong bond with
our over one thousand alumni. Pulling
this event together got Nu off to a rolling start as the banquet was the first
Saturday of September. This event
challenged the chapter yet through it, Nu was made stronger. As they say: If it does not kill you, it
makes you stronger.
