The 2001 joint committee on Credentials and resolutions are pleased to bring you the following resolutions of the NCD!

And now on to the Chapter Resolutions.

 

The sisters and brothers of Zeta Alpha would like to thank Mr Daniel Farris for his many wonderful years as assistant director of bands and sponsor of our chapter at ISU. WE wish you the best of luck in your future endevors at North Western University.

 

We would also like to thank Mr Rene Rosas, Also known as the Big R for filling the position. WE look forward to many great seasons.

 

WE would also like to announce that zeta alpha will be celebrating our 25th anniversary on May 9, 2001.

 

Zeta Omicron wishes to congratulate Mark Bradborne on his success full year as NCDAA President.

 

The Rho chapter of Tau Beta Sigma wishes Theta Psi a wonderful first year as sisters.

Gamma Pi would like to announce our 45th anniversary on March 18, 2001

 

Gamma Pi and their alumni wish to thank all those who attended the funeral and memorial services for Charles Hass. The friends he  left behind are a testament to the person he was. He was a brother to his district , his chapter, and to all those whose lives he touched. He is trully missed! (please pause for a moment of silence in his honor.)

 

Epsilon Iota at the University of Akron resolves to thank their wonderful new actives Heather and Katy for joining them at convention.

 

The Beta Psi chapter at Kent State univesity wishes to congratulate our graduating seniors: Brandon DuVall, Abbey Bolton, Kellee Massey, Angela Bungo, Jennifer Taneri and Laura Parsons, for their love and support for the fraternity. You all will be missed!

The Beta Psi chapter celebrated 50 years of service to the Kent State University bands in Feb.

Congratulations to the Kent State Flasher Brass who traveled to San Diego with the KSU men’s Basketball team for the 1st and 2nd round of the NCAA tourney!

 

Beta Sigma at Purdue university thanks to our graduating seniors for all your hard work and dedication. We will miss you next year.

 

Zeta Epsilon at MSU. We would like to congratulate our Mens Basketball team on making it to the final four for the third year in a row.

We would also like to congratulate our mens hockey team for making it to the frozen four.

 

The Joint Chapters of Alpha Beta and Epsilon resolve to thank the NCD for allowing them to publish the Kadenza during this past year. IT was an honor.

 

Upsilon at UC would like to acknowledge our newest honorary members. Dr. Terren L. Frenz and Mr Tom Acheson. WE would also like to recognize “Dr. Tim” Lautzenheiser, a friend to the UC Bearcat Bands as well as Upsilon. “Dr. Tim” is a candidate for this year’s Distinguished Service to Music Medal and was nomintaed by Upsilon. WE wish him the best of luck.

Chi resolves to thank everyone who traveled to Columbus to attend our block meeting in Feb.  To Derrick “ House” Mills, KKY CFR OSU alumnus and Chi Honorary Member, Thank you for all of your support and welcome to the Sisterhood!

Congratulations and thanks to NCD Secretary/ Treasurer Danielle Bitzel for her year of service to the district.

Finally thank you to the brothers of Eta chapter of KKY for your fellowship and support with love from you sisters of Chi.

 

Alpha Beta – To Doug, good job as district president from your brother sister!.

 

Zeta Epsilon chapter of TBS would like to thank Mel House for her time and support as our advisor for the past two years. WE will miss her and wish her luck.

We will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in the year 2002. Congratulations Spartan Hockey and Mens basketball on their trips to the Frozen and final four.

 

Alpha Beta at Butler University mourns the loss of our brother , friend, advisor and mentor Charles Hass. His contagious laughter and enthusiasm and his refusal to yield to pessimism will truly be missed.

We congratulate Gamma Pi for their recovery of the Indiana Tri-Paddle. We also wish Alpha zeta luck in ever seeing it again.

Than you to the sisters of Epsilon. We are looking forward to another great year of joint relations and settupping opportunities.

To the brothers of Delta Upsilon, You mean so much to us thank you for your love support and most of all friendship. WE love you all!

 

The brothers of Alpha Zeta would like to congratulate our beloved Doug Morin on a succesfull term as ncd president and thank him for all his years of hard work on behalf of the NCD and finally being named an NCDHB!

We will be celebrating our 70th anniversary on May 27th 2001.

 

The brothers of Alpha Zeta wish to thank their sponsor Dr Douglas Stotter, for completing his second year as chapter sponsor and wish him a speedy quest back to full health.

The Alpha Zeta chapter relolves to support Angela Zoss in her candidacy for NCD Secretary Treasurer in recognition of her outstanding commitment to better serving the district.

WE would also like to congratulate Mike Davis on his appointmen as the new head mens basketball coach at Indiana University and wish him and the team the best of luck in the coming years.

 

Alpha Xi would like to wish Dave Vitale the best of luck with this piece at the flea theater in New York.

We would like to Thank our Brother Chapter Beta Kappa for letting us invade your meetings with our PM’s they learned a lot and met many great friends.

We would like to Thank Carolyn Steckal,  Ryan Akers and the Beta Kappa Boys for speaking to our membership. The dinners were great but the information we learned was awesome!

We would like to welcome you all to Toledo to join us for our formal on April 28th.

We would like to congratulate Dave Vitale on his “stunning” performance last night at the lip sync. Your first place in our book!

And finally we would like to thank Smacks for starting our “new tradition” and we think you’re sweet!

 

Amy Dorsch resolves to congratulate Zeta Omicron and Epsilon Iota for their dedication and continued efforts in chapter revitalization.

 

Abbey Bolton resolves to thank the Beta Psi chapter for all the awesome memories! Your hard work dedication and love for the brotherhood continues to make me proud! Keep striving for the highest!

 

The 2000-2001 Tau Beta Sigma North Central District Council would like to thank :

The Brothers of Nu would like to thank everyone here attending the 2001 NCD convention at the University of Michigan. We hope everyone has enjoyed your stay in Ann Arbor . Nu would especially like to thank Kristi “Chewey” Schmitt for all her hard work on the convention on behalf of the chapter. Nu would also like to thank Kami Michels and the lambda chapter of TBS for all their hard work on convention.

 

Nu would like to express it’s undying affection for the lovely ladies of the lambda chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. They make us a better organization and constantly amaze us with their commitment to the service of bands. Nu would particularly like to thank them for all their help and support in our 75th anniversary celebration. Nu looks forward to another wonderful year with our beloved sisters
