NCD Listserv Information

The NCD listserv is a mailing list created for the purpose of easing communication between chapters in the North Central District. The list is meant to be used to share information regarding other chapter's functions, degrees, officers, and other chapter related information. The list is NOT a means of getting the 15 people you need to forward your message to in order for your wish to come true on the forwards you receive. Though everyone likes a little humor from time to time, moderation is the key. Please follow the rules and guidelines listed below to help everyone on the Listserv to enjoy its use.

All members of the NCD can be put on the NCD email distribution list. You can e-mail the NCD List Administrator at ncdlistgeek@cs.purdue.edu. Please include your name, e-mail address, chapter and school in all correspondence with the Listgeek. Alternately, you may use the Listserv Form to subscribe, unsubscribe or modify your subscription.

After you are registered with the listserv just send an email to ncdlist@cs.purdue.edu and all the people who are registered will get a copy of your message.

If you would like to be removed from the listserv for any reason, just e-mail the listserv administrator at ncdlistgeek@cs.purdue.edu and tell him that you would like to be removed. Please do not email the entire list asking to be removed from it! Additionally, please include WHICH e-mail address you would like to be removed if you are writing from a different account than the subscribed one. To make things easier, use the Listserv Form.

Please refrain from personal attacks on the listserv. Debate is welcome; however, remember that you are writing your Brothers and Sisters--please be considerate of others and their ideas.

Rules

  1. The listserv is not to be added to any spam mailing lists, or any other types of newsletters without the expressed consent of the ncdlistgeek.
  2. No secrets of either Kappa Kappa Psi or Tau Beta SIgma are to be sent across the listserv due to the list being a joint mailing list.
  3. Follow common sense. If you don't think something should be sent across the listserv, or if you think someone might take offense to it, don't send it.

Content Guidelines

  1. If the message you are sending is to contact another chapter, please include that in the subject line so that members on the listserv can delete those messages that don't pertain to them.
  2. Some members of the list don't like a lot of "junk" mail, so if you are sending a message that is humorous in nature or not of importance to the members of the listserv, please put "humor" in the subject line.
  3. If your information pertains only to KKY or TBS, please put that in your subject line as well.
