District Days

Hosting a Region Day is an opportunity for members of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi to build leadership as well as brotherhood and sisterhood within our chapters and our District. It's also a great way to get involved with your district and share ideas about service, fund raising, and your love for the fraternity and sorority. There will be three District Days during the 2011-2012 academic year:

The "Membership / Retention" District Day will be held February 17-18 in Columbia, Missouri. Workshops held on Saturday will focus on Membership. Recruiting, Educating (PM and Active), and Continued membership.

  • 11:00am - Keeping members active with Chris Baumgardner

Joint Relations

The "Joint Relations" District Day will be held October 1-2 in Kearney, Nebraska. The theme for the event is "Working Together", with the focus on building and improving working relationships between TBS and KKY chapters in the district, as well as helping chapters build ties with other organizations in the School of Music, University, and Community.

Back to Basics

The "Back to Basics" District Day will be held September 24-25 at Iowa State University in Ames, IA and will be hosted by the Iota Omega & Theta Xi chapters. There will be no fee to participate, and the host chapters will be able to provide housing for those spending Saturday night in Ames. Please register below or join our Facebook event prior to Sept 20 so that we may be sure we can accomodate your stay in Ames:

Saturday's social activity will be held at Brookside Park just Northeast of Campus. In the case of incliment weather, the social activity will be moved to the Memorial Union Commons on campus. Registered attendees will be notified by text message of a venue change.
