Contributing Authors Program for The PODIUM

Effective immediately, the National Headquarters of Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma will accept proposals for publication in The PODIUM. The purpose of the Contributing Authors Program is to increase the quality and volume of articles that we have to consider for publication.

To be selected submit a letter of application to Lt Col Alan Bonner, National Executive Director, P.O. Box 849, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74076. Your letter should indicate your reasons for wanting to participate and include a proposed article for publication and a brief resume outlining your qualifications. Articles will be judged on the basis of topic interest, quality of the writing, and the significance of its relationship to Kappa Kappa Psi or Tau Beta Sigma. The Editor of The PODIUM reserves the right to edit any article accepted for publication. Articles not selected for The PODIUM may be chosen for publication in NewsNotes.

Proposals should be a 1- to 2-page article on a subject related to Kappa Kappa Psi and/or Tau Beta Sigma. It can focus on your chapter, your support of your university band, or even expand to a broader topic; the choice is yours. The use of photographs is encouraged.

Be aware of the established deadlines of May 1st for the Fall PODIUM issue and November 1st for the Spring issue. However, we will accept applications and proposed articles on an on-going basis.

If this appeals to you, please consider submitting an article to the National Headquarters and take your shot at being the first "Contributing Author" for Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma. Individuals selected will be given credit in The PODIUM as a Contributing Author.
