Fall 2000
Greetings!
I know we are all busy and thus a
brief FYI! Thanks for all you do in
serving and helping our chapters in
building/maintaining our wonderful college and
university bands.
We want Kappa Kappa Psi to provide your bands
with the services, finances, and social
activities that are meaningful and important to
the programs success.
We want to encourage you to sit down with your
chapter and the leadership and have them write
down their goals for this semester. Have them
consider their service projects, fund raisers and
membership recruitment. And when possible, please
let the entire band program know your
appreciation of their contributions to the band.
IMPORTANT FALL DEADLINE

Director of Bands Survey Spring 2000.
The collated results of the survey were presented
to the National Council this summer at our July
meeting. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Major points include improving communication
through technology, continuing and creating more
commissioning projects especially consortium, and
educating members to be the best role model. If
you would like a copy of the report email

Best Wishes for a successful Fall. AEA
