1.
WELCOME BACK!
My
staff and I are almost recovered from the 2005 National Convention held in
Lexington, Kentucky in July! Thanks to all the brothers & sisters who
attended and helped make it a big success!
The
National Intercollegiate Band, under the direction of Michael Haithcock,
Director of Bands at the University of Michigan, performed beautifully!
The new commissioned work, The
Seasons, by Philip Sparke
was extremely well received, and it will be available from Mr. Sparke's
publishing company very soon! Tell your directors about it; they will
want this piece!
I
hope you all have an outstanding year! If my staff or I can be of help, don't hesitate to call or
email. We will do our best regardless of the
issue!
Lt
Col Alan L. Bonner, USAF (Ret.)
National
Executive Director
2. Katrina
On
behalf of the entire Fraternity & Sorority the leadership of Kappa Kappa
Psi & Tau Beta Sigma wishes to express our deepest sorrow to any of
our Brothers or Sisters who were impacted in any way by the devastating
hurricane that ravaged the gulf coast. If there are any chapters or
members who need any special assistance, please let the Headquarters know! We have been
unable to find much in the way of information on any of our chapters in the
effected areas.
We
hope & pray that you and your families are safe!

Chapter Personnel Reports Due to National HQs
All
chapters should have received the Chapter Personnel Reports generated and
mailed from the National Headquarters in late August. IF you have not
received yours, or if you have any questions or problems, please call or email
National Administrator, Dixie Mosier-Greene (hqdixie@kkytbs.org),
at 800.543.6505 or 405.372.2333. Be sure to know your chapter’s
official postal mailing address, and provide that to Dixie so that we can check
our database records. Getting your Chapter Personnel Report correctly
filled out and submitted back to us on time is important and directly impacts
the amount of funds that are provided back to your district!
Thanks
to each of you for taking care of this financial responsibility.

information to every individual member. Therefore, it is up to the
District Leaders to appoint someone to be responsible for
forwarding each issue to all chapters or Chapter Presidents in their

it! Please help us to communicate to the individual member!
